Updating a works order - start date

How to set the start date and update percentage progress

Setting a start date

On the works order record that is confirmed (and not yet started) click the Confirm button

Confirm action

In order to set just the start date, now click Update

Choose option

To update the start date for all line items on the order click All
To update jsut the current (visible) set of line items, click Set

NOTE: Many Helpdesk issue orders will only ever contain a single line item. However, orders can contain many line items.

Enter start date

Enter the start date (the current date and time will be entered by default) and click OK

Order record updated

The order record's status will change from 'confirmed' to 'in progress' and the start date will show on the line item/s and on the main order record.
