Creating a new project

New projects can be initiated (only by Managers) from the projects tab on the client record card or directly from the projects list

To create a new project from the client contact record, click the projects tab and then click the new button.

Initiating a new project from the projects list

To create a new project from the main projects list click the new button.

Confirm the project client

Select the relevant client for this project from the drop down list and click OK to proceed

Confirm project details

In the dialog, confirm:

  1. Project name and details
  2. Project dates and timescale
  3. Phase 1 name and summary
  4. Categorised stage and phase information (optional)

Click Confirm to finish

The new project will be added to the projects list

Go to the project record

Click the Goto button on the relevant project row in the list to go to the project record

The project record shows the main project information and tabs for...

  • phases
  • details
  • finance
  • personnel
  • tasks
  • works
  • time sheets
  • notes
  • events
  • docs

The first phase is set up when you create the project record. You can add additional phases on the phases tab.
