Setting the work types that a service provider provides

Set up a new work type remit

Start by clicking the Contacts button. You can also use the quick find option (1) by entering part of a person's name and pressing the tab key on your keyboard to locate all contacts matching the text string you enter.

Go to the contact (service provider) card

Click the Goto button to the left of the row for the relevant contact.

On the contact's card, click the remits tab to view, add and delete remits.

To add a new work remit, click the work remits tab. Then click the New button at the top of the work remits tab list (1).

Confirm client for this remit

If you have links to more than one client you will see this dialog where you can confirm from the drop down list which client this remits will relate to. Select the client's name and click OK to continue.

Select work type

Use the drop down lists to select the categorisation scheme, list and category for this remit. Click Confirm to add the remit to the list.

NOTE: It is usually sufficient to select just the category - do not select sub-categories unless you need to be very specific about the type of work this remit relates to e.g. you want this service provider to undertake emulsion painting but not gloss painting!

Removing a work remit

To remove a work remit click the Delete button (1) for the relevant remit

Confirm action

Click Yes to remove the remit.
