Introduction to the Service Provider's Role

Responsibilities

The service provider's role within Flow360 includes these areas:

  • receiving and responding to new works enquiries and orders
  • updating the progress of works
  • requesting sign-off at stage or final completion of works
  • sub-contracting items to sub-contractors and managing the sub-contract enquiry and order processes

Relationships

The service provider has relationships within Flow360 to:

Clients
    - when a service provider undertakes work on a site the client has responsibility for
    - when a service provider has submitted rates (client level or site/resource level) for works on a site the client has responsibility for

Managers
    - when a service provider undertakes work on a site the manager has responsibility for
    - when a service provider has submitted rates (site/resource level) for works on a site the manager has responsibility for

Surveyors
    - when a service provider undertakes work that the surveyor has sign-off responsibility for

Other service providers
    - when they are sub-contracted to undertake some or all items on a works enquiry or order

Occupiers
    - when the service provider undertakes work in an area that the occupier uses
