Clients (admin and staff)

An overview of the role of the client in Flow360

Introduction to the Client's Role

General

  • Clients generally have the financial responsibilities for the running and maintaining of their sites. Users can be assigned Client admin or Owner staff accounts with admin users generally having greater access and capabilities than staff users.
  • When a new site is entered, a client can be assigned at the site level or multiple clients can be entered at the site section level with each client having control of a section of the site. Clients can enter new site data for themselves or can allow (through preference settings) certain other user types to enter site data on their behalf.
  • The client is a key role, with the client having overview and control of most financial matters relating to their sites. In addition they can allow (through preferences settings) certain other users to have limited control of some financial aspects such as assigning cost centres and accounts to specific activities.
